SORD x Bajio Collab: One Shared Passion

VISION, MEET PRECISION

The Bajío x SORD Skiff Knife

Bajío refers to "the shallows" and SORD has spent seven years building knives for “the deep” — offshore, big water, big fish. On paper, those are two different worlds.

But talk to the people at Bajío for five minutes and you'll hear the same thing we've always believed here at SORD: do it your own way, or don't do it at all. No corporate playbook. No cutting corners. Just people who are genuinely obsessed with the water they fish, building gear for the people who fish it with them.

That's what brought us together – Not a marketing deal, but a shared DNA.

So we built our first-ever co-branded knife.

THE SHALLOWS MEET THE DEEP

Bajío built their name on the flats — the skinny water where seeing the fish is half the battle. That's the whole reason their lenses exist. Cut the glare, find the fish, make the shot.

SORD has always lived a little deeper. Bigger boats, bigger blades, bigger fish.

This knife lives right where those two worlds meet.

Vision, meet Precision. That’s the whole idea behind this drop. Their eyes on the water. Our blade in your hand. Two brands built for the moment right before you make the cut.

BUILDING THE LOOK

The sheath was designed by Hannah Rossler at Bajío, and she didn't default to a logo slap. She gave it a topography map of Mosquito Lagoon — Bajío's home water, laid out in contour lines across the Kydex material. Our most intricate sheath design yet.

The handle is orange. It’s LOUD on purpose. The kind of color you can find in the bottom of a hatch, in the grass on a poling skiff or in a dry bag at last light.

Every piece of it points back to the same place: the water that this collab was built to celebrate.

THE BLADE

We went with a 5" utility blade for this one, and that wasn't an afterthought.

Skiffs are small. Space is a premium. You don't have room for a knife that only does one thing.

So this one does everything. Cutting a sandwich at lunch. Slicing limes for a cold one at the end of the day. Cutting rope, cutting bait, cutting whatever shows up between the ramp and the take-out. It's not a knife built for one job on the boat. It's the one you reach for no matter what the job turns out to be.

OUT IN THE WILD

These blades didn’t last long. The Bajío x SORD Skiff Knife sold out in 24 hours.

That's not a brag. It's just what happens when two brands who genuinely love the water put something real behind their name.

Vision, meet precision.

Where the map turns blue — even when it turns blue in six inches of water.
