I was disappointed that wasn’t any kind of plastic or sheath. Knife seems okay. I was giving two as gifts but seems risky without a cover.

I was genuinely impressed the first time I held this knife- love the weight and feel of the handle. Then, I pulled it out underwater ti brain a large mutton snapper and it slid through his skull like butter. Very impressed overall- although I wish the holder held the knife in more securely; im afraid one day it will slip out under water. Other than that I love this knife and highly recommend it to any spearo.

These pliers are high quality. They have good weight to them and the sheath is perfect. They cut braid, mono, and wire like butter and the replacement blades are also very nice so you can replace worn cutters. Hoping they make either a 7" or 8' soon with a little longer handle and a longer nose! Amazing pliers!

Bought a tool belt and knife and pliers for Captain. He loves them

Pliers are solid but the handle(s) are too short. In order to get a better grip, the user has to move their hand up which causes occasional pinching of the skin where the mouth and handle meet.

Got info from my east coast connections on these knives, and man let me tell you they are perfect for our 3 seasons of species here on the left coast. From big Bluefin, to Halibut and Rockfish there is an ideal blade for each one. Ergonomics are spot on and the blade stays very sharp for a long time!

Ordered the 7” med flex 14 days ago direct from Sord and the shipping tracker says it will be another 10 days until it arrives! I ordered a second 9” full flex off Amazon and it arrived in 3 days with free shipping. Granted I live in Alaska, I’m not impressed with 24 day shipping that I had to pay for when Amazon does it in 3 days for free. If you live in Alaska or anywhere not in the lower 48 I recommend ordering from Amazon. Haven’t used the knife yet.

8" FILLET KNIFE - SUPER FLEX

I have been looking at these knives for months but I'm bit of a tight wad. I was at the tackle shop in Ocracoke NC. and they had one on display. After looking at it and holding it in my hand I had to have it. I was a little disappointed because once I tried it out on a 27" red drum it didn't do so well. The lack of sharpness on the tip made it almost impossible to get through those large scales to even start to filet the fish. In fairness after looking at recommendation chart I now see that this choice may not have been the best for this type fish. I guess there is no one size fits all in filet knife world and that's why I normally just buy the cheap ones, use them a few times then throw them away and get a new one next time around. It is pretty though.
