I was excited for this. Upon receiving I saw that it is made in china. That’s not my biggest issue. For the price I would’ve hoped it wouldn’t need work right out of the box. I am now 45 minutes into sharpening it and I’m not even close. I was able to run my finger down the blade with pressure before I started sharpening. The handle is kickass and I will take it in the water soon but the dullness of the knife was very disappointing for 90 dollars

Durable and holds an edge

Pliers are solid but the handle(s) are too short. In order to get a better grip, the user has to move their hand up which causes occasional pinching of the skin where the mouth and handle meet.

I have been through many sets of pliers in my life, and none compare to the quality of what SORD has created here. They will not rust or show any signs of corrosion even after months of abuse in harsh saltwater environments. Before I found these, the boat would have a different set of pliers on it on a monthly basis from either corrosion or getting bent out of sorts. Now there is only the need for the same pair, every single trip. I never leave the dock with out them on my side, and neither do any of my deckhands.

By far the the best pliers I have ever used. The cutters are super sharp and the pliers have no play in them unlike others. I hope to hold on to them for a long time.

Game changer when it comes too fishing

I love that this knife as opposed to my other filet knives, is high carbon steal. Sharp enough to shave with. Best money ive ever spent on a filet knife!!

7" FILLET KNIFE - MEDIUM FLEX

I took this knife out of the incredible packaging (a fortune must have been spent on the packaging), and immediately starting cleaning fish. I filleted about 20 bottom fish like Black Sea Bass, Trigger fish, Grunts, Porgies, etc and it did a great job. It retained its sharpness and I was pleased with its performance.

I received my sword knife, they are incredibly, very comfortable in your hand, really good looking, fit and finish is awesome. They stay incredibly sharp. Over my last 3 day offshore trip I cleaned 48 red snapper, 2 cobia, 9 grouper and a few queen snapper. And never put it on any sharpening device.

Theirs is nothing like a SORD knife!! By far the best fillet knife’s I’ve ever used definitely worth the investment for any one who loves an Amazing knife from an amazing company who stands behind their product and their supporters!!

Great quality

Had a difficult time cutting through black fin tuna both from the outside, and then again when removing blood line with skin from inside. Expected better performance , had an audience watching me clean fish. Lou the wireman.
