    Sharpest knives in the game!

    I have a collection of sord knives for all of my fish and game processing needs. The 6" flexy is the best tool for taking care of the most delicate of tasks which has been perfect for smaller fish and venison quarters. Makes quick work of any task where precision is absolutely necessary. Add one to your collection and you will be glad you did!

    West Coast perfection

    Got info from my east coast connections on these knives, and man let me tell you they are perfect for our 3 seasons of species here on the left coast. From big Bluefin, to Halibut and Rockfish there is an ideal blade for each one. Ergonomics are spot on and the blade stays very sharp for a long time!

    I have been looking at these knives for months but I'm bit of a tight wad. I was at the tackle shop in Ocracoke NC. and they had one on display. After looking at it and holding it in my hand I had to have it. I was a little disappointed because once I tried it out on a 27" red drum it didn't do so well. The lack of sharpness on the tip made it almost impossible to get through those large scales to even start to filet the fish. In fairness after looking at recommendation chart I now see that this choice may not have been the best for this type fish. I guess there is no one size fits all in filet knife world and that's why I normally just buy the cheap ones, use them a few times then throw them away and get a new one next time around. It is pretty though.

    The new SORD 8” Black Ice Limited Edition knife is a work of art. The craftsmanship speaks for itself, and I don't know if I can bring myself to use it. I may keep it as a collector's item and purchase the standard version for actually cleaning fish.

    After making the switch and using SORD for over the past 200+ trips, I am confident that these are the best tools in my work bag, meaning they come home with me daily! Last year, I had my previous set stolen from my boat at the harbor. SORD caught wind of the unfortunate event and sent me a knife for Free!     Best all around Knife for cutting up larger tuna and Swordfish. Has the length and stiffness you need to get though larger fish with tougher skin. Very Comfortable for long hauls on the fillet table. THE BEST Fillet Knife i've owned in over 50 Years.
