Sweetest fillet knife I’ve Ever Owned

I’ve owned a lot of Fillet knife’s in my day but this Sord 9” Medium Flex fillet knife is the sweetest I’ve ever owned. The handle grip is everything Sord promised and provides unparalleled grip and control of the blade. I’ll never own another!

It was stiffer than I thought it would be and not really able to use it for fileting the fish I caught. I did order the medium flex but if I decide to order another one I think I will order the 7" with the most flex. It does seem to be of good quality

  • The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

  • We designed this knife due to our customers demanding that we have a more flexible version of the flagship 7” medium flex. This blade is the perfect option for anyone who prefers a blade that is more flexible than stiff. 

  • The blade is hand sharpened to an angle between 18 and 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives to 20 degree angles.

  • The knife is razor sharp right out of the box, but as any knife that sees excessive abuse, it will need to be sharpened. Visit our knife sharpening page to learn more about our recommended ways for sharpening your new knife.
