i love my 7" and 9” flex blades they have everything i have been looking for in a fillet knife flex where i need it but strong when i want it. Let me tell you this sucker is SHARP! The grip is great quality and comfortable in the hand the textured G10 does no slip at all. I will continue to use these knifes for many years to come and would strongly recommend for someone looking for a product that will last!

I have found the best filet knives period. I purchased my first one at the Miami boat show 2 years ago. I got the serrated one to cut bait. Loved it and then purchased the 9 flexy, 9 med and 7 flexy and they are amazing. they are used daily as I have a few restaurants, one being seafood where i source my own fish. They stay sharp and do the work.

  • The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

  • We designed this knife due to our customers demanding that we have a more flexible version of the flagship 7” medium flex. This blade is the perfect option for anyone who prefers a blade that is more flexible than stiff. 

  • The blade is hand sharpened to an angle between 18 and 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives to 20 degree angles.

  • The knife is razor sharp right out of the box, but as any knife that sees excessive abuse, it will need to be sharpened. Visit our knife sharpening page to learn more about our recommended ways for sharpening your new knife.
