Although I haven’t had an opportunity to actually use my knife yet, it appears to be a very well built and comfortable knife.

cut one lingcod dulled blade, re sharpened will try on next fish. maybe blade was tempered wrong will advise.

Very nice knife. I should have hat the super flexible blade. I got the one that isn’t quite as flexible. I use it for filleting fish and I could be alittle more flexible but still works great.

Fantastic knife, has just the right amount of flex for skinning and can cut through all kinds of fish! It’s now my go to blade! Thanks for making a quality knife that really keeps an edge!!!

The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.
We designed this knife due to our customers demanding that we have a more flexible version of the flagship 7” medium flex. This blade is the perfect option for anyone who prefers a blade that is more flexible than stiff.
The blade is hand sharpened to an angle between 18 and 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives to 20 degree angles.
The knife is razor sharp right out of the box, but as any knife that sees excessive abuse, it will need to be sharpened. Visit our knife sharpening page to learn more about our recommended ways for sharpening your new knife.
