The knife is a huge improvement over the cheap knives I have, but is not as sharp as I had hoped. It stil takes significant pressure to cut through skin and scales on the gill cut.

This is the best fillet knife I have ever owned ! Let’s start with how it looks. Super Sharp ! The blade is razor sharp and the fish skins were paper thin after removal. You could literally see through them. No meat was left on the fish. The flex is just right, not too stiff, not too much flex. The hand ergonomic with no slip due to an awesome handle. Clean up is a breeze ! The sheath fitting on a bucket is a great feature. I’m a tournament walleye fisherman and would recommend this product to anyone. Great job SORD ! Loyal customer for life going forward.

The blade is hand sharpened to an angle between 18 and 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives to 20 degree angles.
