Now THIS is a sharp fillet knife!

I purchased this after reading all the great reviews but was skeptical. Seems there’s always a lot of hype with nothing to back it.
This knife lives up to its hype! I fish almost exclusively for crappie, so the 7” is more than enough. I don’t like electric knives, preferring the control with a conventional. This knife has made filleting a dozen fish a snap! It’s so sharp that it probably saves me at least 15-20 minutes.
Amazing tool, couldn’t be happier, just wish the Warthog sharpener wasn’t so pricey!
I guess you get what you pay for. Completely satisfied with the knife!!

  • We designed this knife due to our customers demanding that we have a more flexible version of the flagship 7” medium flex that would flex all the way down onto the cleaning table. This blade is the perfect option for anyone who prefers a blade that is more flexible than stiff. 

  • The knife comes with a custom-fitted kydex sheath that will lock the knife inside with a click. This sheath is outfitted with a belt clip that will clip onto a 5-gallon bucket or onto your fishing shorts without the need to wear a belt.

  • The blade is hand sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees. We recommend sharpening all SORD knives at a 20 degree angle.

  • The knife is razor sharp right out of the box, but as any knife that sees excessive abuse, it will need to be sharpened. Visit our knife sharpening page to learn more about our recommended ways for sharpening your new knife.
