I used the 6" Knife I bought last week. I had caught a bunch of Channel Catfish and after I used an electric knife to remove the meat from the carcass, I then cut the skin away with the 6" filet knife. And, as always, it was like a hot knife through butter. The blade was extremely sharp - as always- and the job went smoothly. I find that the Sord knives stay sharper longer and the blade coating keeps meat and skin floating smoothly by. No problems so far. Not expecting any.

I've cleaned multiple sheepshead with it its a nice blade but the only I don't really like about it is the length of the blade I wish it was a 7 inch super flex in all black

Used one for the first time this morning. All this time I thought I was not good at filleting fish. Turns out, I didn’t have the right tool. These are awesome!

I like it a lot

I have owned many knives of various brands/shapes over 66 years and there is no equal to the SORD 7" Flexy. Regardless of price an outdoorsman/chef can do no better that this guy. We now raffle them off at our large chemical company of 550 employees as an attention getter.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but hopefully this coming weekend if the weather cooperates. The look and feel are great and if it cuts just as good I’ll be purchasing the 8” Super Flexy for Flounder and 9” Medium Flexy also for Tuna.

Love this 9” Flexy Knife. Have not been able to use it on our summer Pelagics yet. Works well on some of our larger Rock Fish and White Fish. Very happy and now have 6”, 7” and 9”. Also have sent a few knives to a buddy in Alaska for the huge halibut and rock fish.

Slid through a sack of triggers like butter. The hype is real.

If you want the real thing, get a Sord. I did have a problem but they took care of it right away.

Owned the 9” super flex knife that is fantastic for skinning. Was a little too flexible for filleting snapper, so bought the 7’ medium, and is perfect. Get both, complete game changer and the fillets come out perfect.

Haven’t used it yet. My fishing season begins May 1st. I e used Dexter Filet knives for 40 years so we’ll see how it goes. I fillet thousands of fish each year so let’s see how it goes 🎣🎣

Don’t waste the carcass parts. Those giant rib cages make great soup and fish cakes. And don’t forget about those fried backbones. This serrated blade makes effortless work of it!

I was excited for this. Upon receiving I saw that it is made in china. That’s not my biggest issue. For the price I would’ve hoped it wouldn’t need work right out of the box. I am now 45 minutes into sharpening it and I’m not even close. I was able to run my finger down the blade with pressure before I started sharpening. The handle is kickass and I will take it in the water soon but the dullness of the knife was very disappointing for 90 dollars

Love this sharpener super easy and quick

This is my second Sord knife. The first was a 9" med flex, purchased in the beginning of 2024. They come with a great edge that lasts for a very long time even cleaning a lot of triggers! Once it started to lose its edge, it was verry simple and easy to sharpen it with the VSharp A4. I'll never buy another brand.
