Got info from my east coast connections on these knives, and man let me tell you they are perfect for our 3 seasons of species here on the left coast. From big Bluefin, to Halibut and Rockfish there is an ideal blade for each one. Ergonomics are spot on and the blade stays very sharp for a long time!

The new SORD 8” Black Ice Limited Edition knife is a work of art. The craftsmanship speaks for itself, and I don't know if I can bring myself to use it. I may keep it as a collector's item and purchase the standard version for actually cleaning fish.

I am traveling on my boat fishing in Mexico for the past 4 months. My new knife was shipped to the house. I will be home in mid February and will try it then. I have been using Dexter knives for years and still do. Looking forward to trying my first Sord.

Best all around Knife for cutting up larger tuna and Swordfish. Has the length and stiffness you need to get though larger fish with tougher skin. Very Comfortable for long hauls on the fillet table. THE BEST Fillet Knife i've owned in over 50 Years.

Had a difficult time cutting through black fin tuna both from the outside, and then again when removing blood line with skin from inside. Expected better performance , had an audience watching me clean fish. Lou the wireman.

I was disappointed that wasn’t any kind of plastic or sheath. Knife seems okay. I was giving two as gifts but seems risky without a cover.
