As a smaller brother to the SORD 9" Serrated Blade, the 6" Serrated Blade is built to battle the toughest species. Ideal for punching through scales, sawing through bones and frozen bait, and removing fins, collars, and bills.

Like the 5" Utility Knife and 9" Serrated Blade, the 6" Serrated Blade is hardened and ground to our stiffest level, built for sawing and punching through scales, bones, and ribcages with maximum control of the blade.

PEOPLE ARE ASKING

Our carbon steel holds an edge about 2.5 times longer than traditional stainless steel. For the recreational fisherman, you can expect the knife to remain sharp for an entire fishing season, although edge retention depends on the number and type of fish you clean. Cleaning thick-scaled and bony fish will wear the edge down more quickly, while cleaning light-skinned fish will allow the edge to last significantly longer.
The Titanium and Teflon coating on the knife is extremely durable and protects the blade from rust; however, if it isn’t properly maintained, small rust spots may appear on the raw exposed edge, which can be easily removed with a knife sharpener.
Unlike a flat blade, a serrated blade must be sharpened with a small diamond rod that is ran through each serration. We recommend the DMT Diafold Knife Sharpener for SORD serrated blades.
A Kydex sheath is a custom-molded knife cover made from a durable thermoplastic material called Kydex. Kydex is waterproof, resistant to wear, and doesn’t absorb moisture. It holds the knife securely, featuring an audible "click" when the knife is fully seated—keeping the blade safe from damage and making it easy to carry.
Our handles are made of G10, which is a strong material made from layers of fiberglass soaked in resin that are compressed and heated until they form a hard, durable sheet. They are CNC milled to ergonomically fit the hand and become slip-proof. Commonly used on gun grips and other rugged weaponry.
