We cleaned 2 gators with the 6 inch and never had a issue

Cleaned my first catch of fish Monday the 18th of August. Very impressed with how the knife cut thru the smaller fish, and also ease of filleting the 24" black drum. Email SORD on advice for type of knife I should purchase, for the type of fishing I do. They were fast to respond with a suggestion, and I feel they gave me the right choice. The end of the knife is sharp, the middle to the handle of the knife is dull.

I bought this 6” knife i was amazed how it just glides thur the fish like a warm knife on butter.
The Filets are clean and ready to grill cut um gut um grill um up

I would call this knife decent at best... hopefully i can get it sharper then when it came out of the box. Prolly should have saved my money for something better...

I was on the fence most of the summer about purchasing this knife and was it really worth it.
I actually bought another name brand knife but never opened it.
When I showed my wife the Sord knife and explained to her the details of the knife (handle, carbon steel blade, lifetime guarantee and sheath), she said just buy it, it’s a work of art.

I have been fishing for decades, cleaned thousands of fish and am a full-time charter Captain in Port Charlotte, Florida.

I just started using my SORD 9” medium flex knife and I can’t believe how effortless it is cleaning large fish such as groupers and red snappers using this knife. I bought the 9” medium flex for my boat I filet sockeye and silver salmon and rockfish here in Alaska. Works great for the rockfish but I would prefer the more flexible 9” for salmon. Super sharp love the handle. I’ll be ordering the more flexible 9” today.

Had a difficult time cutting through black fin tuna both from the outside, and then again when removing blood line with skin from inside. Expected better performance , had an audience watching me clean fish. Lou the wireman.

Super Sharp

Great knife but the sheath does not hold the knife in place. Lost mine on the second dive. It was in the sheath when I entered the water, never used it during the dive, was missing from the sheath when I got out. Very disappointed, it was a nice knife.

Excellent knife for humainly dispatching a fish. Especially a larger one. Handle feels great in the hand with nice grip and perfect balance. Sheath locks it in securely. Sharp and durable. Perfect for what I was looking for.
