I was disappointed that wasn’t any kind of plastic or sheath. Knife seems okay. I was giving two as gifts but seems risky without a cover.

With all the hype around Sord Knives, I just wanted a good boat knife to cut bait and be a good utility knife. There wasn’t much of an edge on the knife and simple tasks like cutting dead finger mullet were just handled average, cuts were not clean. Cutting through thin rope was a chore. Certainly not worth the cost.

When I pulled it out of the box, I knew I had something special!! This is an extremely well constructed knife!

Unfortunately, I probably just purchased the wrong knife, as my biggest complaint is that it's far too flexible.

I own a charter company in the Galveston area and use SORD knifes to clean the fish we catch and they are easy to handle with the great handle and clean fish after fish and still keep their edge. Just purchased another knife for the new boat we just added. I will never buy another brand of knife again.

This is by far the best knife I have ever owned. I’ve cut up literally thousands of fish and this is by far the nicest knife I’ve ever used. Done about 50 snapper/grouper/tuna and it’s still creepy razor sharp. My Dexter’s are going on the boat as bait knives now.

The comfort of the grip in your hands while wet helps navigate the blade around stomach bone cleaning on small fillets as well as big. I’ve literally thrown my other knives away since getting my new Sord 7 and 9 inch medium flex knives. Thank you guys for making an amazing product built tough as nails. RAP

Somehow my awesome knife got damaged. I reported this on Sunday night using their website. On Wednesday afternoon my replacement knife was delivered to me. This is what I call customer service! These guys are great!!

i wish it was a little sharper

I recently purchased the 9 inch flexy. I used it last week to fillet 50 salmon we caught on Lake Ontario. This knife went through them like butter and still as sharp as when I pulled it out of the box! I also purchased the 6 inch to use on walleyes!

Best fillet knives... hands down. Easy to sharpen when that day inevitably comes. Can't think of any reason to not buy one (any size) if you need a fillet knife

I think I’m going to really enjoy filleting all of the fish that I will be catching in Alaska this summer in year’s past i have struggled with dull knives that I thought were sharp my wife thought i was crazy paying 100$ for 1knife but she doesn’t clean the fish i just wish i had a knife like this when we would catch fish in Florida stay tuned for my Alaskaen adventure

I have had sharp knives before. These Sord knives are amazing. WOW!

From the moment I put them in my hands I knew they were great. The medium flex makes cutting around big tuna dorsal fins a breeze. Don’t waste your time or money on any other knife than Sord.

I love this knife! It’s big enough that I can cut 20+ pound kings and lakers, but so big I end up slicing through the spring cohos! The handle, I cannot say enough about that handle on that knife. I’ve been cleaning fish for a long time “and I’ve got the scars on my fingers to prove it from slippage” and this knife is never coming out of my hands by mistake. Lastly you cannot beat a razors edge the Sord is famous for having. Thank you Sord and keep up the good work!

Cant beat the customer service from these guys . Broke the tip on my 9 inch serated and called them and had a new one within 3 days . Awesome knives .
